However, the team was denied permission to speak with Jeff Ulbrich, who is currently under contract with the Atlanta Falcons despite their ongoing head coach search.
Dallas's defensive struggles are no secret. They ranked last in the NFL in points allowed, a staggering 511 points, and were 30th in yards allowed. The new coordinator will have big shoes to fill, following in the footsteps of Dan Quinn, Mike Zimmer, and Matt Eberflus.
